Welcome to the May AU and Plotting Workshop for Phantom Thieves International! This post is intended to help incoming players plot their AU and figure out who their characters are in this setting and where they want to go, as well as for current players to come up with plots and things they want to accomplish with their character. This is completely optional but players are encouraged to use this post to both establish pre-existing CR and goals for their characters, as well as plan ahead.

Character Name: Greed/Ling Yao - Ling's name is the same, but Greed will be Tan Xin.
Original Canon: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
AU Role: Accomplice
AU Species: Human
AU History Blurb: The son of a rather power-hungry and abusive triad boss, Ling developed 'Tan Xin' as an alternative personality to cope with it, Tan Xin's aware of Ling, but not vice-versa. Ling's trying to make it through college and get into UCLA for law to work on civil rights issues, Tan Xin leads a motley crew of social outcasts in Chinatown causing minor trouble for the police and the actual gangs in a giant 'fuck you Father' gesture.
Tentative Plans for character: People eventually piecing out Ling and Tan Xin are 'the same' person, and to eventually run a palace to close the fissure between the two to a more cooperative relationship, and eventually get out from under their father's thumb.

Pre-Established CR: What I'm hoping for is that there are people who only know Ling, and those only familiar with Tan Xin. So for the former, classmates, former classmates in high school - and for Tan Xin, fellow troublemakers and people with strong anti-authoritarian streaks.

Desired CR: Tan Xin wants a crew of cool people to run with, but they can't be cooler than him. They both are people who need someone who will put their foot down at their more irreverent or extreme personality traits, and especially for Ling someone he feels he can trust and rely on.

Hi I don't know you but if he's okay with a sixteen-year-old who hangs out with crowds that aren't-so-great I'd be willing to work on a shared history, she kinda drifts and is very much an anger child and someone who fell through the cracks of the foster system.

Greed definitely has a tendency to 'collect' people nobody else wants (Chimeras chiefly), and a skewed sense of morality, so he'd have no problem with letting a kid hang around.
