Welcome to the March Test Drive Meme for Phantom Thieves International! Use this post to try out your characters. Testrun Prompts

I.

Irish eyes are smiling - or crying on the days surrounding the 17th of March, a sea of green flood downtown as route-altering parades and block parties pop up all over the city, corned beef is king, and every drink is green, even the ones that really shouldn’t be. Oh, beware - there’s some people who still hasn’t grown up and believe it’s their duty to pinch anyone who refuse to wear the color.

Many bars are having beer festivals of local and imported drinks along with live bands, while many places are creating cabbage or corned abominations to get into the season. There’s even Irish stepdancing lessons to be had!

II.

School’s for the week, and for the college set that means one thing only: getting rip-roaringly drunk off of cheap booze, party at the beach, and hopefully not uploading unfortunate pictures to facebook before you sober up. The city’s bars take advantage with experimental cocktails and shots at a low price, and while the water might be too cold to do a lot of swimming in, the weather’s good enough to beach to the beach for drunk volleyball or just drunk partying.

Whether you want to join in on the fun or try to avoid the mess, it’s very hard to get away from the chaos!

III.

The seasons - or whatever passes for seasons in LA are starting to turn and the weather is heating up. With raucous college students making their way to LA beaches in droves for Spring Break, the weather in Mementos is Inebriated. Shadows will lurch and stagger noisily around Mementos, and will be more friendly and less discerning to boot!

IV.

The Descano Gardens are holding a Cherry Blossom festival and month-long celebration of Japanese culture. Guests can witness origami demonstrations and take part in flower-arranging workshops in these beautiful gardens, with guided tours throughout the month. Looking for a beautiful setting for a date or to find some artistic inspiration? Part of the local Japanese community and helping out? It’ll probably be pretty busy, the Cherry Blossoms are gorgeous this year but they’re only in bloom for so long.

V.

For the second year in a row, the Smorgasborg Market has come to Santa Monica Pier! This cheap (for LA) event brings a variety of food and shops right to Santa Monica Pier giving you plentiful access to good food, drinks, and fun in the sun. Looking for a good meal? Ready to show off that beach bod you’ve been working on this winter when LA temperatures were low enough that you might not want to go to the beach all the time? Now’s your chance!
